Job Description
Blavity Inc. is looking for a Specialist, Email & Digital Marketing to play an integral role on the Audience Growth team. This role is responsible for building and delivering marketing communications that engage customers and increase acquisition and retention. This role will run and execute email marketing campaigns focusing on email development, automation workflows, and A/B testing to optimize the customer journey.
This position partners closely with the Live Events, Editorial, Data Intelligence and Advertising Operations teams and is critical in developing the in-house email program and supporting digital efforts as it evolves. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong attention to detail. This role will report directly to the Manager, Email Acquisition & Retention.
Responsibilities:
Curate, produce and schedule content and assets into email service provider across several brands within specified timeframes
Analyze and plan email content to engage users across specific audiences toward department and company goals
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, guidelines, updates, and communicate them in a timely manner to implement
Utilize graphic design tools to create high-quality and engaging media to be implemented in email
Execute marketing and automated email campaigns to drive email messages through HTML/CSS, existing drag-and-drop templates, and automated campaigns
Review calendars, manage email workflow tools, and support campaign kickoffs
Proactively collaborate cross-departmentally to manage timelines for email needs
Build emails and manage template library, ensuring that email best practices, mobile responsiveness, and rendering across all email clients and devices are in place
Own email proofing, quality assurance, advanced scheduling, and final send/automation parameters
Identify areas for growth and opportunity though structured multi-variate testing
Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide guidance on best email practices and leverage technology to drive innovation and create engaging email content
Perform other duties and special projects assigned as needed
Qualifications:
Education: N/A
Required Experience:
Working knowledge of email marketing, including experience with email deployment tools
Skilled in crafting compelling subject lines and email copy, with a good eye for layout and design that aligns with brand standards
Ability to interpret campaign metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, and conversions) to optimize performance and inform future strategies
Knowledge of the regulatory requirements of email marketing (privacy regulations, CAN-SPAM, data management)
Preferred Experience:
HTML/CSS coding for email
Technologies:
Google Suite, Asana, Microsoft Office, Data Analytics tools, ESP platforms and tools (Iterable, Digioh)

Details:
This is a fully remote role, U.S.- based role. Occasional travel may be required.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Candidates must be available to work in 80% alignment with the Eastern Time Zone.
The annual salary range for this role is $67,000 – $75,000.
