Vacancy Announcement

Druk Drolma Zhitshok (Bhutan Tara Foundation), endorsed by the Central Monastic Body of the Kingdom of Bhutan in 2023 and operating under the Monastic Council for Administration & Development Affairs, is currently seeking an Accountant to manage administrative and financial responsibilities.

Candidates interested in this position must meet the following criteria:

Fluent in both Dzongkha and English (speaking, reading, and writing)
Age between 30 to 40, with a clean record (no alcohol or drug abuse)
Preferably experienced or interested in Dharma and related activities
Minimum qualification of Class 12 with an accounting background, computer skills, and tally use experience
Strong communication skills in both English and Dzongkha

Job Details:

Position: Accountant
Contract Period: 12 months (with a 6-month probation and possible extension based on performance)
Salary: Nu. 18000/- (Eighteen Thousand only)

Responsibilities include:

Working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week with government holidays
Assisting in meeting preparation and organization
Maintaining financial records and preparing disbursements
Providing financial updates to the board
Other administrative tasks as needed
