Specializations/Interest
- Sports and Health Sciences: Candidates should possess relevant theoretical and practical knowledge of teaching courses on specific sports and exercise science. They must have experience in Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) approaches.
- Anthropology: Candidates with social or cultural anthropology, and research experience in Bhutan or the Himalayas preferred.
- Communication Arts & Creative Media: Candidates with field and/or teaching experience related to Graphic Design, Layout for print and web would be preferred. Candidates with field and or teaching experience related to theories of Mass Communication & Journalism would be preferred. Candidates with field and/or teaching experience related to Filmmaking & Film production (Fiction & Non-Fiction) would be preferred.
- Environment/Forestry/Climate/Hydrology: Candidates with relevant field/teaching/research experiences related to Environment, Forestry, Climate Science and/or Hydrology would be preferred. Candidates with experience of working with research related to Population Studies would be preferred.
- English Literature: Candidates with experience in teaching English literature to undergraduate students would be preferred.
- Creative Writing and Language: Candidates with experience in teaching creative writing (fiction and nonfiction)/ prose writing/ language to undergraduate students would be preferred.
- Nursing and Midwifery: Candidates should be registered with the Medical Council of Bhutan and hold a valid registration or be eligible for registration. Those with a minimum of 2 years of teaching/clinical experience will be preferred.
- Statistics/Quantitative Analysis: Candidates with field and/or teaching experience related to Statistics/Quantitative Analysis would be preferred.
General Skills: Candidates with field and/or teaching experience related to general skills based modules like Analytical skills will be preferred.
