Overview: The Royal Bhutan Police aims to recruit 15 Officer Cadets, comprising 10 male and 05 female candidates, to serve the nation. This opportunity offers a pathway to contribute to the safety and security of Bhutan.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates interested in applying must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Possession of Bhutanese citizenship identity card (CID)
- Clearance of security certification
- Clean criminal record
- Age between 18-25 years (as per CID)
- Height requirement: 5 feet 5 inches for males, 5 feet 3 inches for females
- Bachelor's degree certificate (10+2+3) from a recognized university
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks in the Bhutan Civil Service Examination (BCSE)
- Physical and medical fitness
- Unmarried status
- Other criteria as prescribed from time to time
Disqualification Criteria: Candidates will be disqualified if they:
- Fail to produce original documents
- Are found physically or medically unfit based on specified parameters
Shortlist Process:
- The Royal Bhutan Police will shortlist candidates based on BCSE ratings, with a male-to-female ratio of 1:5.
- In cases where the vacancy criterion is not fulfilled, the committee reserves the right to adjust the shortlist accordingly.
Evaluation and Assessment Parameters: Candidates will undergo selection examinations, which will be evaluated based on three components:
- BCSE rating (60%)
- Physical Fitness Exam (20%)
- Interview (20%)
