Nalanda University Scholarship 2024-2025

The Royal Civil Service Commission is pleased to announce the availability of 30 scholarship slots for Bhutanese candidates under the Nalanda University Scholarship for the 2024-2025 intake as follows:
- MBA in Sustainable Development and Management: 05 slots
- Other Master's Programs: 05 slots
- PhD: 20 slots
Deadline for the scholarship: 31-May-2024
Programs currently offered by Nalanda University:

MA and PhD Buddhist Studies, Philosophy, and Comparative Religions - MA and PhD in Hindu Studies
- MA and PhD in Historical Studies
- MA and PhD in World Literature
- MSc in Ecology and Environment Studies
- MBA in Sustainable Development and Management
The Scholarship covers the following expenses:
- All academic fees (admission fee, tuition fee, miscellaneous charges, etc.)
- Caution Deposit
- Residential Charges
- Meal Charges
- One-time to-and-fro travel
Eligibility:
- Civil Servants must fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed in the BCSR 2023, in addition to the scholarship criteria prescribed by Nalanda University.
- Non-civil servants must fulfill the criteria prescribed by the Department of Workforce, Planning, and Skills Development, MOESD, in addition to the scholarship criteria prescribed by Nalanda University.

Important Notes:
- Kindly note that this scholarship is provided by Nalanda University, and all scholarship entitlements are confined to those offered by the University. Therefore, no additional financial benefits from the RCSC/RGOB shall be admissible to candidates under this scholarship.
